Pintura en tributo a Arturo Vega R.I.P.
A joyful picture celebrating the life of a wonderful person.

a tribute

Gathering at 3pm at the sculpture garden on Elizabeth St. Nolita NYC.

Ph D Sound. Artists Space, New York.

create a gathering
add a beat,
its reading time!

Ph D Sound explores writing and language used in the internet. Artist Tan Lin used Powerpoint for this piece and Mösco performed a live dj mix for the audience at the space. Assorted beats and sounds were played along with the text based on their beat (bpm) creating an exciting reading experience in which sound served as a guide to the eye. Presented at Artists Space, New York, 2012.
Thanks to Tan Lin and Richard Birkett.

PhD Sounds

A collaboration with Tan Lin who created a 15 min. Powerpoint piece called PhD Sounds.
A film about re-sourcing of bibliographical material.
I was asked to select various songs to accompain the reading (video piece). This was performed live at
38 Ludlow -mini Goethe Institut NY- using a lap-top Dj program. March 31 2012.
It was a fantastic experiment. The audience was thrilled to read with a soundtrack, specially after watching a 30 min. minimal silent piece, also by Tan Lin.
"I have nothing to say, only to show" the exhibition in site by Natalie Czech, also very good.
Many thanks to Tan, curator Clara Meister, 38 Ludlow and everyone who came for the performance.
